Although this photo was taken soon after the offensive ended, it shows an H/17th CAV cobra pilot servicing his turret minigun. The feeder delinker device that separates the cartridge from the belt links would often jam, requiring a large screwdriver and effort to unjam while unloading. More than once a frustrated pilot would be working on the delinker while another loaded rockets at the ammo berm of Kontum.
