As far as I know it was the last taken of John Paul Vann and my brother, Lt. Ronald Doughtie. It was taken in Kontum on June 6, 1972 (3 days before the crash) by either Time or News Week Magazine, I can't recall which. They gave us a copy of the photo sometime after the funeral.
