How-to Add A Page to the Album

It is simple to add to the Photo Album. This first page has a drop down list from which you select how many pictures will be in the Album- there can be as many as 12 images. Select the number and click the "Begin" button.

Concerning your pictures- Your images will look best if they are in jpg format. Since this is the most common format for digital images, this should not be a problem. The images that you upload can be of any dimension, however if they are wider than 600 pixels, their width will be reduced to 600 pixels once they reach the server. And, as a suggestion, it will be easier for you to select the images if they are all in the same folder/directory on your computer.

After you click "Begin," you will be taken to the "Add A Page to the Album" form. At the top of the form are text boxes boxes into which you enter what the page will be named, a short description of the album and who is submitting the pictures.

The next section contains a number of boxes, 2 for each image. Use the "Browse..." button to select the image that you want to upload and enter a caption for the image in the "Caption" box. The first image you select will be the one that appears on the main Album Page. Repeat this for all of the images that will be in the Album.

Once the form is completed, clicking the "Add Page" button will send everything to the server. Note- The Album Pages cannot be edited (well, except by the Webmaster) once they have been submitted, so you need to carefully check your typing and image selections before you submit the completed form.

Depending on the number of images you submit, the file size of the images and your connection speed, it might take some time for everything to be sent to the server. Do not click the "Add Page" button more than once. Once everything is in place, you will be taken to the main page of your Album- your new addition will be the first one on the page.
