Senate OKs Debate Delay

SAIGON (UPI) --The Senate Friday accepted a request from President Nguyen Van Thieu to postpone debate on a bill which would give Thieu power to rule by decree for the next six months.

Thieu earlier this week sent a letter to Senate Speaker Nguyen Van Huyen saying he had special reasons for seeking postponement of debate on the measure until after May 29.
